From Hong Kong to Kremenets
Home Essentials was founded in 1997 in Hong Kong by Chris Exline. The idea came from a simple question on a trip to Singapore: watching expat friends taxed on a $5,000 electronics allowance they couldn't take home, he asked — why not just rent it? There was nowhere for an expat to rent a television. So he built it. Over two decades the business grew into the furniture-rental house of choice across 21 countries.
Today Home Essentials brings that international standard to Ukraine — the first multinational to open here since the full-scale invasion. With offices in Hong Kong and Madrid, we furnish homes in western Ukraine on terms no local store offers: 0% financing, no bank, no credit check, no hidden fees.
